Alex Ebang Mbele

Alex Ebang Mbélé is a Gabonese ecologist with a master’s degree in forestry from the USFWS MENTOR FOREST program, a master’s degree in sociology and graduate degree in ecotourism from Omar Bongo University, and professional training in civil society management from the Sylvia Bongo Ondimba Foundation.

Alex's role in the Poulsen lab includes community facilitation of wildlife management, teaching a conservation ecology course to the team of paraecologists, and overseeing field monitoring methodologies and data quality.
